TAGUIG—Four Filipino cycling enthusiasts will represent the Philippines in the Prudential Ride London this weekend in London.

Champion cyclist Pot-Pot Hualda headlines the group while being joined by 18-year-old prospect Ismael Grospe and Pru Life UK employees Franco Amian and Marvin Pacis.

The four cyclists were introduced to the media and likewise given a send-off in an event at The Brewery at the Palace on Wednesday.

They will participate in the London-Surrey 100 race, one of the main highlights of the three-day cycling festival.

The said race is 100 miles (161 kilometers) long traversing the cities of London and Surrey.

"We have a set of four cyclists who all have the strength, skill, and spirit necessary to overcome the challenges of the 100-mile marathon. But more importantly, we have a set of four advocates who forward not only the cause of the charities but also the vision of creating an environment that encourages safe cycling," Pru Life UK SBP and CMO Allan Tumbaga said about the quartet.

The London-Surrey 100 race will happen on the final day of the cycling event on Sunday.

The London-Surrey Classic, now part of the UCI World Tour season, serves as the headliner for Prudential Ride London.
