MANILA--The inaugural PFL season now has a third team on the top of the table.

This came after Kaya-Makati brushed cellar dwellers Ilocos United aside in the other midweek match Wednesday evening at UMak in Makati.

A Jordan Mintah hat-trick (7', 34', 86') was vital for their 5-2 win, in which they overtake capital rivals Meralco-Manila on goal difference, yet they played two matches more.

Robert Lopez-Mendy (58') and Eric Giganto (69') added a goal each for Noel Marcaida's men, whose unbeaten run now is stretched to five.

A John Kanayama penalty (29') and Graham Caygill's strike (81') were the consolations for Ian Gillan's men as they were still rooted in the bottom of the table.

Both teams will play again in UMak on Sunday, their third meeting overall this year.
