MANILA--From a team who looked to be on the verge of an early boot in the PBA Governors' Cup, Blackwater suddenly went berserk in the last three games.
With currrent import Henry Walker around, the Elite have now won three in a row and is now in the stacked middle part of the team standings with a good chance of making the quarterfinals.
However, the ultimate test of Blackwater's surge will happen on Wednesday night as the club takes on TNT at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay at 4:15 p.m.
The KaTropa look to build their own winning streak with their own present foreign player, Glen Rice Jr.
On the other hand, Phoenix now aims for survival as the team takes on Ginebra in the main game at 7 p.m.
Losing their last six games after a 2-0 start, the Fuel Masters must now win their last three games and hope for the best to barge to the next round.
However, up next for them is a gritty Barangay that has now won four straight games and is currently tied with the Star Hotshots at second place.
