Ginebra hands NLEX first loss in Calasiao clash

MANILA—Ginebra snapped NLEX's unbeaten start in the PBA Governors' Cup with a 110-97 victory at the Calasiao Sports Complex in Calasiao on Saturday night.

The Barangay broke away in the final six minutes of the third quarter to hand the Road Warriors a loss after a 4-0 record.

Joe Devance led Ginebra, which moved up to 3-1, with 23 points, two rebounds, and one block, while Justin Brownlee added 22 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, four blocks, and two steals.

Aaron Fuller tallied 20 markers, 17 boards, and two assists for NLEX, which actually had a six-game winning streak dating back to the Commissioner's Cup snapped.

After providing huge help to NLEX in its first four games, Kevin Alas was limited to only 10 points on 5-of-12 shooting.
