MANILA -- The Philippines U-22 team got thumped by a clinical Indonesian side, 3-0 in the second match day of Group B of the SEA Games men's football competition in Shah Alam, Malaysia on Thursday night.

Indonesia got a good start thanks to an early goal by David Maulana in the seventh minute.

The Philippines had difficulty creating chances throughout the match as Indonesia’s defense was solid all throughout.

Just before halftime, Ahmad Hardianto scored Indonesia’s second goal off a good passing play.

In the 59th minute, Saddil Ramdani gave Indonesia its third goal off a blasting shot from outside the penalty box.

Indonesia goes up to the second spot of Group B while the Philippines goes down to fourth place just above Timor-Leste and Cambodia.
