BIÑAN—Perlas Pilipinas suffered a huge meltdown in the third quarter and succumbed to Indonesia, 68-78, in the SEA Games women's basketball at the MABA Stadium in Kuala Lumpur on Monday night.
Perlas failed to sustain a good start as Indonesia slowly creeped into the Philippine team's lead and turned the tides right after halftime, going on a 25-9 third quarter to take the lead for good.
Debby Christaline led Indonesia with 25 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and one steal, while Yung Anggraeni added a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds with three assists and two steals.
Aliana Lim led Perlas with 13 markers and four markers.
