PHI volleybelles fall to Thailand in SEA Games semis, to battle Vietnam for bronze

KUALA LUMPUR--The Philippine women’s volleyball team will take on Vietnam in the battle for bronze medal at 10 a.m. Sunday at the MITEC Hall here in the 29th Southeast Asian Games.

The Filipinas' quest for gold was dashed on Saturday following a 21-25, 17-25, 17-25 loss to reigning champion Thailand.

Thailand and Indonesia, winner over Vietnam in the other semifinal pairing, will dispute the gold medal.
