MANILA -- The Philippines U-22 gets another loss in the SEA Games by losing to Vietnam 4-0 as their drive to the podium took a massive hit Sunday evening in Selangor's Shah Alam Stadium.

The first thirty minutes were hard fought as the Young Azkals repelled relentless Vietnamese attacks in the penalty box, largely to the heroics of goalkeeper RJ Joyel.

Vietnam however, broke the deadlock in the 39th minute thanks to the goal of Nguyen Cong Phoung.
Just before halftime, Vietnam doubled their lead as Vu Van Thanh sliced the ball into the bottom left corner of the goal.

On the 50th minute, Vietnam tripled their lead thanks to Nguyen Ven Toan who slotted the ball into the net.

And Finally, Vietnam got their fourth goal to finish off the onslaught. It was scored by Ho Tuan Tai who finished off a team play move from the wing.

With this win, Vietnam still stands on the op of Group B with a solid nine points while the Philippines stay at fourth place stuck at three points after being dealt with back-to-back losses.
