MANILA--TNT begins life without Ranidel De Ocampo as the team takes on sister squad NLEX as the PBA Governors' Cup returns to the Ynares Center in Antipolo on Wednesday night.

The KaTropa, who gave up the six-foot-six stretch-4 to the Meralco Bolts in a trade on Monday, face off with the streaking Road Warriors in the featured match of a twinbill at 7 p.m.

TNT got two players from the said trade, Justin Chua from Meralco and Norbert Torres of conduit squad Phoenix.

On the other hand, NLEX is returning from a 10-day break, and the squad looks to formally seal one of the four twice-to-beat advantages in the next round.

Speaking of the Fuel Masters, they will try to salvage what is left of their playoff hopes as they clash with the Rain Or Shine Elasto Painters in the first game at 4:15 p.m.

Phoenix, which now holds the longest active skid right now at seven games with Alaska currently on a three-game winning streak following a 14-game slide, needs to win its last two games and must hope that the teams stacked at the middle of the team standings will falter to get a crack at the quarterfinals.
