Fast forward to this year.
The Barangay will collide again with the Meralco Bolts for all the marbles in the season-ending conference after eliminating the TNT KaTropa in Game 4 of the semifinals at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

And Brownlee is aware that the rematch will be a different story.
"I'm just trying to move on from that. This is a new year, and whatever we did last year doesn't matter," he told the media after the game.
Both Ginebra and Meralco will begin their series on Friday night at the Quezon Convention Center in Lucena.
