LUCENA--As it stands, Junemar Fajardo could end the season an MVP for the fourth straight time.

The 6-foot-10 San Miguel center topped the stats race for the PBA's top individual prize as revealed on Friday.

Fajardo garnered an cumulative average of 38.6 statistical points, way ahead of fellow Beerman Alex Cabagnot, who had 32.96.

A third San Miguel player in Arwind Santos made the Top 5 with 30.97 average SP's for fifth place, while GlobalPort's Terrence Romeo (32.0) and TNT's Jayson Castro (31.5) are third and fourth respectively.

Just below the Top 5 are Ginebra's Japeth Aguilar (30.9), GlobalPort's Stanley Pringle (30.6), SMB's Chris Ross and Marcio Lassiter (30.4 ans 29.5 respectively), and Alaska's Calvin Abueva (30.1).

Being the Best Players of the Conference for the first two tournaments of the season, Fajardo and Ross are automatically eligible for the MVP award.

However, the odds are favoring "The Kraken", who could become only the third player to win four MVP's, joining the elite club of Alvin Patrimonio and Mon Fernandez.
