QUEZON CITY -- Reigning three-time UAAP basketball queens National U moved to within two wins away from a golden sweep after clobbering still winless UP in a routine 76-35 mauling  Saturday morning at the Blue Eagle Gym.

Playing for the first time without suspended head coach Patrick Aquino, the Lady Bulldogs have now won their 60th consecutive game dating back to 2014.

NU fired the first basket of the game and never looked back, virtually putting the Lady Maroons away for good with an early 16-0 run in the opening frame.

The Lady Bulldogs sealed their emphatic rout by limiting UP to just four second quarter points and were leading by more than 40 the entire game.

Forward Jhe-Ann Camelo lead the Lady Bulldogs' balanced scoring with 14 points.
