BACOLOD City—Foton notched its third straight win as it upended Genrika-Ayala, 25-22, 25-22, 25-16, in the first game of Saturday action of the 2017 Chooks-to-Go Philippine Superliga Grand Prix at the University of St. La Salle gym.

Serbian import Sara Klisura once again carried the scoring chores, firing a game-high 18 points spiked by 15 kills and three service aces as the defending two-time champs joined Petron atop the team standings with a perfect 3-0 record.

Jaja Santiago, Montenegrin Dragana Perunicic, and Maika Ortiz all chipped in eight markers for the Tornados, which held a 36-32 edge in attacks while taking advantage of 24 Generika miscues for the straight-set win.

They also had nine service aces as compared to the Lifesavers’ two.

With the loss, Generika-Ayala dropped its second successive game and fell to a 1-3 win-loss card. Katerina Filipic topscored with 17 markers on 15 attacks, while fellow import Darlene Ramdin had five.
