MANILA--Three hours after the Filipinos heard the good news they want to hear on Saturday night, they heard a not-so-good one.

The Philippine contingent to One: Warriors of the World failed to walk out of the Impact Arena in Bangkok with a win.

Rabin Catalan found himself at the wrong end of Kritsada Kongsrichai's ground-and-pound with the referee calling a halt at the 3:01 mark of the very first round.

Jimmy Yabo fell to a knockout loss too as Sagetdao Petpayathai connected on a hard knee to his midsection that sent him down the canvass for good at 2:44 mark of Round 1.

April Osenio also took a knockout loss at the hands of Xiong Jingnan, who actually had a chance to finish her off via submission earlier in the match before connecting on an overhand right that sent her down for good at the 3:44 mark of Round 1.

In the other women's bout of the night, Rome Trinidad found herself being given a rear-naked choke by Rika Ishige that forced her to tap out with only 55 seconds left in Round 2.

In the headliner, Brazilian fighter Alex Silva shocked Bangkok after defeating Yoshitaka Naito for the One strawweight belt.

Silva dominated the first three rounds before holding off the erstwhile unbeaten Naito in the championship rounds en route to the unanimous decision win.
