SAN JUAN, MM--All eyes were on Kiefer Ravena as he made his much anticipated PBA debut on Wednesday night.

And he did not disappoint, quickly firing a double-double of 18 points in just three quarters and 12 assists along with seven rebounds and two steals in a 119-115 NLEX win over Kia.

Asked by reporters, Coach Yeng Guiao evaluated his new prized draft pick.

"He's a combination of Paul Lee and Willie Miller," Guiao said.

Like Ravena, Lee and Miller both had impressive pre-PBA stints, and Guiao simply could not pass on them, leading to Miller becoming the first overall pick of the 2001 draft with Red Bull and Lee becoming the second overall pick of the 2011 draft.

And as aforementioned, the second pick of the recent draft also made waves in his PBA debut that made Guiao rave about him.

"He's able to create his own shots and find his teammates, and that's very good for the team," Guiao continued about Ravena's impressive debut. "He's smart enough to recognize that."

On his final evaluation on Ravena, Guiao said, "He's exactly what we're looking for and what the doctor ordered for us."
