MANILA--Willie Wilson was lauded by the PBA Press Corps for his perfect outing on Friday night.

The 37-year-old Phoenix forward showed that he still has some gas left in his tank by firing 7-for-7 from the field for 19 points off the bench to help his team open a huge margin over Ginebra which was enough to withstand the latter's final hurrah.

With that said, Wilson, who also had five rebounds, two assists, and two steals was named the Player of the Week on Monday.

Wilson edged fellow Fuel Master Jeff Chan, Rain Or Shine Elasto Painter Maverick Ahanmisi, Alaska Aces Vic Manuel and Chris Banchero, Magnolia Hotshot Mark Barroca, San Miguel Beerman Junemar Fajardo, Barangay Ginebra's LA Tenorio and Raymond Aguilar; and GlobalPort Batang Pier's Kelly Nabong and Jonathan Grey for the weekly citation by the group of reporters covering the league.
