PASAY--Emilio Urrutia delivered the knockout blows to Bruno Pucci for a statement win at One: Global Superheroes at the Mall of Asia Arena on Friday night.
Both fighters sized up each other at the early stages of the match, but as the fight went on, Urrutia eventually found an opening and delivered a 1-2 punch on Pucci that knocked him out at the 3:33 mark of Round 1.
Urrutia then looked at One Championship chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong and made an invisible belt gesture, signalling that he demands a shot for Martin Nguyen's One featherweight title.
Urrutia moves up to 11-4, while Pucci slipped to 5-3.
