MANILA -- It's official.
University of Santo Tomas has bagged the biggest coaching free agent in Philippine college basketball, snapping former La Salle's master tactician Aldin Ayo on Friday.
This was confirmed by UST's school paper The Varsitarian with the official announcement by the school's Institute of Physical Education and Athletics is set six days from now.

Ayo's two-year stint with the Green Archers ended with a contract that expired on New Year's Eve, after leading them to a 30-5 record and a UAAP title in his debut season.
He will be the Growling Tigers' third head coach in the past four years as the 18-time UAAP champions are looking to bounce back for season 81 after disposing the ever-maligned Boy Sablan last November.
The man behind Mayhem who won the NCAA championship both as a guard and as head coach for Letran has reconnected with his Dominican roots, this time with their bigger counterparts from España Boulevard.
