FEU pull the rug from UP on a furious fightback

MANILA -- FEU bucked an early deficit to beat UP, 2-1 in the UAAP Women's football tournament Saturday morning at the Rizal Memorial.

Cristina Delos Reyes put State U ahead in the 12th minute from the spot, but Aloha Bejic's brace lift the Lady Tams to temporarily move to second at seven points at the end of the first round.

Bejic equalized in the first half stoppage time, then headed it home from a free kick in the 54th minute to get all three points.

The scorching heat of Adriatico resulted into a more heated emotions inside the pitch, as Let Dimzon was even tossed for arguing with the fourt official, slapping the table in the process.

"Until now, di pa rin nagbabago yung quality ng officiating natin," Dimzon lamented after the match.
