PASAY--Rain Or Shine coach Caloy Garcia told the media on Friday night that none of his players, especially the three who are subject to trade rumors throughout the week, want to be out of the club.

"Nakakatawa lang kasi di sila nagpapa-trade," Garcia said his reaction about a trade report by Spin.PH's Snow Badua.

On Tuesday, Badua reported that Raymond Almazan, Beau Belga, and Jericho Cruz are looking to move out of the Elasto Painters, and Garcia, as he continued to air his sentiment of the report, admitted that it came to him as a surprise.

"That's the only thing na na-shock ako," the mentor bared.

On how he dealt the report, Garcia said, "Sabi ko sa mga players na we have to be professional about it and put effort every time we play because ang nagbabayad naman sa salary nila ay yung owners and that's the only way they can repay them."

He, however, also admitted that Cruz really wanted to reunite with former ROS gaffer Yeng Guiao, who is now the head coach of NLEX.

"Sabi ko, 'This is a job. You have to love the job and play hard,'" Garcia revealed what he told Cruz.

Cruz failed to make a field goal and only came up with two points, all on free throws, along with two rebounds, two assists, and two steals for the E-Painters against the Meralco Bolts, but Garcia insisted that he put up a good effort.

On the other hand, Belga finished with a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds, while Almazan came up with six points and seven rebounds in a win for ROS over Meralco.

"I'm so happy that they came out today and played hard," Garcia said of the win.

He then clarified, "[On] good terms kami ni Raymond."
