QUEZON CITY--Blackwater is now on a roll.

After another giant killing against the San Miguel Beermen last week, the Elite handed the Kia Picanto a 19-point beating on a second half surge on Friday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

"That win over San Miguel last Friday was like a shot in the arm, and with this decisive, convincing win over Kia, maybe we can go on and move up to the next level in terms of confidence, maturity, and all the positive things that can add up to another win for our team on Sunday," Coach Leo Isaac said after the game.

He now looks forward to complete the late surge to an assured spot in the quarterfinals.

"Ang focus namin is to avoid the complications kasi meron pa naman kaming chance," Isaac continued. "Meron pa kaming dalawang games. If we can handle it properly, then we can avoid complications and outright, papasok kami sa next phase of the tournament."
