PASAY--Coach Leo Austria turned emotional during the post-game press conference of the San Miguel-TNT quarterfinal game at the Mall of Asia Arena on Tuesday night.
Austria admitted to the reporters that he was thinking about his wife in the lead up to the game.
"I never had a sleep last night because of my wife. She'd undergone kidney transplant," he bared.
With a playoff game to attend to, it was not a surprise that Austria got teary-eyed in the interview.
Good thing for him, the transplant was successful, and the Beermen will go on to the semifinals of the PBA Philippine Cup.

"I want to praise God," Austria further said.
He then dedicated the game to his wife, saying, "Ma, I love you."
