MANILA--Junemar Fajardo continued to be a solid contributor inside the paint for San Miguel during the remainder of the PBA Philippine Cup semifinals this past week.
Fajardo went 6-for-7 from the field in Game 4 while scattering 25 points in the clinching Game 5 as the Beermen eliminated Barangay Ginebra.

In line with this, Fajardo was named the PBA Press Corps Player of the Week on Monday, edging fellow SMB players Marcio Lassiter, Arwind Santos, and Alex Cabagnot.
The Beermen await the winner of the other semifinal pairing between the Magnolia Hotshots and the NLEX Road Warriors in the championship round. The Hotshots are up, 3-2, in the series with them gaining a chance of finishing off the Road Warriors in Game 6 on Tuesday night.
