PASAY--Honda has found a new ally in the PBA.

The well-known motoring company and the country's top flight basketball league inked a memorandum of agreement recently that will make the former the latter's sponsor for the upcoming Commissioner's Cup.

This is the first time that Honda will become involved in PBA-related activities since it once fielded a team in the said league when it was founded in 1975. The said franchise played in the league's first nine seasons.

The said partnership is part of Honda's "One Dream" campaign aiming for unity among motorcycle drivers to become tools in fulfilling the people's dreams.

“Knowing that people strive to achieve their dreams and aspirations motivates Honda to continue with our efforts of helping them realize it,” said Daiki Mihara, president of Honda Philippines Inc., about the said campaign, which was officially launched during the Inside Racing Bike Festival at the World Trade Center on Friday.

The partnership will give Honda a leeway to promote its brand through various treats and contests for PBA fans.

In line with the formal launching of the campaign, Honda introduced new motorbikes, the PCX150, the CBR150R, the CRF150L, the CBR1000RR Fireblade SP, and the CB1100EX.
