QUEZON CITY--Many PBA fans may be unaware of this, but LA Tenorio has played in each of the 543 games he should be in.

The mere fact that he has not yet missing one game in his PBA career gave him the moniker "Iron Man".

"My mileage of not losing a single game is truly a blessing for me," said the 33-year-old point guard who is on his 12th season in the league.

His 543rd straight PBA game played, however, went a bit too long as he logged in nearly 57 minutes, the fourth longest all time among locals and among Ginebra players.

But for him, "Ayokong mag-complain. I'm sure a lot of aspiring basketball players want to be in my shoes right now. I don't wanna take it for granted now, kasi hahanap-hanapin ko yan pag nawala ako sa PBA."

And with the Barangay aiming for back-to-back PBA titles, his health is of utmost importance.

"Off the court, kung ano ang kailangan kong gawin to stay in shape, gagawin ko," Tenorio vowed.
