One to debut "special ring" in MOA return

One: Heroes of Honor will happen inside a ring instead of an MMA cage.

LOS BANOS--In a rare moment for a globally recognized MMA promotion, One Championship will have all the matches in its Heroes of Honor event inside a ring.

One will bring in a ring similar to those being used for boxing, pro wrestling, and kickboxing matches at the April 20 fight card at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay as announced on Wednesday.

The said development is in line with the opening of the One Super Series, which will highlight One: Heroes of Honor.

On whether it will be a "squared circle" or a literal circle just like the One Championship cage will be announced just before the event itself, but the three scheduled One Super Series bouts and all the MMA contests, including the main event between Kevin Belingon and Andrew Leone, will take place at the said ring.

The only thing certain about the new One Super Series ring is that it will have five ropes that will mark the boundary, unlike boxing rings that only have four ropes.
