Far Eastern ended their campaign in the UAAP football tournament on a high note after denying Adamson one final chance to nick a result with a 3-2 win Thursday afternoon at the Rizal Memorial.

A first half-brace by Harold Alcoresa and a late strike by two-time champion Arnel Amita gave the Tamaraws their third and final win of the season to finish the campaign with 13 points on the table despite ending the match with ten men.

Alcoresa put FEU on the board thirteen minutes into the match by heading John Paul Salilig's cross from the six yard box, and got his double in the 34th minute from almost exactly the same spot on his right foot.

Jusuel Pilarca made the tiff interesting in the 83rd minute with his left foot that hit the far post after sending Audie Menzi into the other direction.

But the graduating midfielder, who won back-to-back crowns with the green and gold gang, capped off his amazing college career with shot into the far post of Carl Viray with a minute left before full time.

Jesus Cayadong put Adamson to within one with a diving header in injury time but they could not find an equalizer to avoid the embarrassment of being shut out of a decent result, ending their campaign with nothing to show for after 14 matches.
