BANTAY--Eric Cachuela scored the lone goal of the match as SOCCSKSARGEN knocked out Northern Mindanao in the quarterfinals of the Palarong Pambansa secondary boys football competition at the Quirino Stadium on Thursday.
Cachuela dashed through the Northern Mindanao defense and drilled in the go-ahead shot in the 57th minute.
SOCCSKSARGEN will take on the winner of another quarterfinal game between CALABARZON, represented by San Beda-Taytay, and CAR later Thursday. The said match is ongoing as of posting.
