Ceres Negros kept its perfect league form by trouncing JPV Marikina, 4-1, in a closed-door Philippines Football League match held at Rizal Memorial Stadium on April 28.

A pair of Busmen goals courtesy of Bienvenido Marañón and Jeffrey Christiaens in the first 18 minutes of the match gave the reigning PFL champs a 2-0 headway. Suzuki Tsubasa then netted one via header from a corner at the 35th minute to make it 2-1 at the half in favor of the blackshirts.

Patrick Reichelt then scored twice in the latter part of the second half to put the match away from JPV. With the victory, Ceres has a perfect slate with 12 points after four matches.

Marikina stays put at fourth on the table with six points in six fixtures.
