BINAN--Davao needed 19 games before notching its first win in the PFL last season.

This year, however, the Aguilas needed just two.

Davao got its first win in this year's PFL wars the quicker way, deposing Laguna, 1-0, at the Binan Football Stadium.

Coach Marlon Maro believes the time is now.

"It's a different team compared to last year," Maro said during the post-match press conference at the Alonte Sports Arena on Sunday night.

However, seeing the result, Maro further said that there are some improvements that need to be made.

"Although we were able to manage a win tonight, there are a lot of things that we have to work on," he quipped.

In spite of it, Maro is confident that Davao will bring the trophy to Tagum this season.
