BANTAY--NSNU booked the first seat in the championship game of the Palarong Pambansa secondary football tournament through a 2-0 semifinal win against Western Visayas at the Quirino Stadium on Thursday night.
Aggressive from the get-go, the Bullpups got their breakthrough in the second half as they now await the winner of the other semifinal showdown between San Beda-Taytay and SOCCSKSARGEN, which is ongoing as of posting.
Marcel Ouano found an open look at close range and shot the ball inside the goal in the 66th minute.
Robert Wilson then sealed the win with a header goal in the first minute of stoppage time.
