VIGAN--Ahead of the start of the PBA Commissioner's Cup released the full schedule of the elimination round on Friday.
Philippine Cup runner-up Magnolia begin its stint in the mid-season conference on May 6, taking on Phoenix at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay at 4:30 p.m., right before the 7 p.m. match between Ginbera and TNT.
The eventual champ last conference, San Miguel, debuts the next playdate on May 9, locking horns with Meralco also at the MOA Arena at 7 p.m., right after the curtain-raiser between Columbian and Rain Or Shine at 4:30 p.m.
All eyes will be on Chris Standhardinger, who is set to make his PBA debut on that day.
Action will then shift to the Alonte Sports Arena in Biñan on May 11 as the Fuel Masters battle the NLEX Road Warriors at 4:30 p.m. and the Barangay face off with the Blackwater Elite at 7 p.m.
The first non-Mega Manila game of the Commissioner's Cup will happen the night after at the AUF Gym in Angeles as the Hotshots clash with the GlobalPort Batang Pier at 5 p.m.
The other out-of-town games will have the Beermen taking on the Alaska Aces on May 19 in Dumaguete, the Barangay and the Road Warriors colliding in Legaspi City on June 9, and the Road Warriors locking horns with the Beermen in Calasiao on June 23.
There will be two nine-day breaks in action this conference.
The first is from May 21-29 due to the PBA All-Star Week, and the other is from June 25-July 3 due to the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers third window.
