MANILA--The De La Salle women's volleyball team continues to keep on rolling forward as it conquered rival Ateneo de Manila in straight sets, 26-24, 25-17, 25-19, on Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay to sweep the second round of UAAP volleyball.

There were times when Ateneo looked to pierce DLSU's armor, when it managed to tie the count at 24-all on the first set and when it led at the start of the third. In both instances, the green and white was able to recover and take over both frames.

Michelle Cobb had 24 excellent sets along with seven points off four blocks and three aces for the Lady Spikers, who ended their elimination round stint at 12-2.

With the loss, ADMU falls to third seed with a 9-5 win-loss record and would need to win twice against Far Eastern to return to the finals.
