Alaska trips Columbian with 31-point rout

QUEZON CITY--Alaska banked on a huge second quarter blast to maul Columbian, 134-103, in their PBA Commissioner's Cup battle at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Friday night.

The Aces outscored the Dyip, 42-9, in the second quarter to turn what seemed like a close battle to a rout.

For the second straight game, Vic Manuel paced Alaska with 26 points, four rebounds, one assist, one block, and one steal.

Antonio Campbell added 22 points, 13 rebounds, one assist, one block, and two steals in just nearly 18 minutes before sitting out the fourth quarter.

John Fields, who quickly replaced CJ Aiken as Columbian import, exploded for 39 points, 16 rebounds, two assists, and one block.
