QUEZON CITY--Even an all-Filipino TNT lineup was too much for a Blackwater side that is still looking for a win in the PBA Commissioner's Cup.
The KaTropa showed cohesion even without an import as they mauled the Elite, 120-101, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Friday night.
A day after letting go of Jeremy Tyler, TNT showed its might in the third quarter, dropping 35 points on Blackwater to blow the game wide open for good.
Ryan Reyes led seven KaTropa in double figures with 18 points, two rebounds, four assists, and three steals.
Troy Rosario added 17 points along with 11 rebounds for a double-double, three assists, and one steal.
RR Pogoy tallied 15 markers, seven caroms, two assists, and one steal as they moved up to 4-1 in the standings.
Poy Erram made 16 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and four blocks for the Elite in a game where Jarrid Famous could only tally 11 points.
