Although just one game in, Ramos already concerned with Blackwater's 0-4 start as winless squads go to Alonte

PASIG--He may be just one game into his newest head coaching job at Blackwater, but Coach Bong Ramos may have just seen enough of his club's sluggish 0-4 start in the PBA Commissioner's Cup.

"Mabigat yun," said Ramos, who took over the post vacated by Coach Leo Isaac.

In spite of the Elite's situation, Ramos remains optimistic that they will get the elusive first win in the mid-season conference.

"I believe we still have the chance," he further said.

Blackwater will have a golden opportunity to get that win as it takes on another winless squad on Friday night as the league pays its first visit to the Alonte Sports Arena in Binan.

However, it will not be an easy task as the Elite battle Barangay Ginebra in the main game of the doubleheader at 7 p.m.

Good thing for Blackwater, it has an added offensive boost in former Mono Vampire star Paul Zamar, who will debut on Friday night.

On the other hand, Ginebra, which has been a semifinalist for quite some time now, is in an unfamiliar spot as the team is currently 0-2.

The team, however, also has a big boost of its own as Coach Tim Cone hinted at a possibility of Greg Slaughter's return.

"There's a possibility he might play Friday," said Cone.

The focus will be on the import match-up between Jarrid Famous and Charles Garcia, who could be on their make-or-break night.

The Elite and the Barangay are not the only winless teams that will head to Alonte as the 0-3 NLEX Road Warriors face off with the Phoenix Fuel Masters in the first game at 4:30 p.m.
