MANILA--Kinda tired of seeing a Cleveland-Golden State NBA Finals again?
You are not alone.
Sacramento King Willie Cauley-Stein said that he would rather see a Boston-Houston series for all the marbles.
"I like to see the Celtics and the Rockets [in the Finals] just for a change in culture," said Cauley-Stein, who was in town two weeks ago for the Jr. NBA National Training Camp. "[It will be] really cool."
However, he added that he is already expecting a fourth straight installment of the budding rivalry of the Warriors and the Cavaliers.
"It's still gonna be the Warriors and the Cavs," Cauley-Stein predicted.
With the situation in the NBA conference finals, however, it's anybody's ballgame.
Following Golden State's 115-86 comeback Western Conference Finals Game 6 win against Houston at the Oracle Arena in Oakland on Sunday (Philippine Time), both league semifinals are heading to a Game 7 for the first time in almost four decades.
The Cavs and the Celtics will dispute the first finals seat in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals at the TD Garden in Boston on Monday at 8:30 a.m. (Philippine Time).
The Warriors and the Rockets will then meet one more time at the Toyota Center in Houston in Game 7 of the West Finals the following day.
