MANILA--Magnolia once again stomped its dominance on Columbian with a 126-101 rout for its second straight win in the PBA Commissioner's Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Wednesday night.
The Hotshots quickly mauled the Dyip via a 37-18 first quarter and never looked back.
Vernon Macklin led Magnolia with 19 points on 7-of-8 shooting, eight rebounds, and one block.
Ian Sangalang added 18 points on 8-of-10 shooting, four rebounds, and one assist.
John Fields, who scored back-to-back 30-point games for Columbian the last times out, was limited to only 22 points, although he also had 19 rebounds, one assist, and four blocks.
