BINAN--TNT joined Rain Or Shine on top of the PBA Commissioner's Cup table with a 96-92 win over Ginebra in the main game of the scheduled twinbill at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay on Sunday night.

The KaTropa's bench mob led by Jayson Castro saved the cause for the KaTropa, who remained unbeaten at 3-0, as their starters, including import Jeremy Tyler, struggled.

In a tight and emotional encounter, TNT broke loose in the last seven minutes, going on a 12-1 run to pull away for good.

Castro finished with 27 points, one rebound, five assists, and three steals, while RR Pogoy added 15 points, four rebounds, three assists, and one steal.

Troy Rosario was the lone bright spot for the KaTropa starters with 14 points, seven rebounds, and two assists in a game where Tyler only finished with two points, all on free throws.

Japeth Aguilar and Joe Devance each tallied 19 markers for the Barangay, which fell to 0-2.
