MANILA -- Before the most-awaited World Cup, FIFA released on Thursday the latest world's rankings for this June holders Germany still leading the men's rankings and the Philippines sliding down once again in a seesaw year.
The reigning world champions still hold the top spot for the ninth month in a row, with Brazil in second as the biggest sporting event on the planet kicks off in six days time.
Belgium, Portugal, Argentina, Switzerland and France retain their spots from third to seventh, while Poland and Spain swapped places with the former moving up at 8th.
The Azkals, who are yet without a manager and a match since March 27, slide down four places to 115th, after getting their record last month without breaking a sweat.
