On Sunday night, they will cross paths again, this time as foes.

The battle between Justin Brownlee and Renaldo Balkman will be the main individual match-up of the Ginebra-San Miguel showdown on Sunday night at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.

But for the Barangay's resident PBA Governors' Cup, who was called up for the remainder of the team's Commissioner's Cup campaign, it will be a bizarre moment.

"It's gonna be awkward at first," said Brownlee.

But knowing that they have to face off, he added, "I gotta treat him as my opponent. He's an incredible player, and I can't wait for the challenge."

Ginebra and San Miguel will face off at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
