MANILA--While everyone was busy preparing his or her lunch on Monday, the PBA provided a sizzling news.
Jeff Chan will now be heading to Ginebra as part of a trade that was approved by Commissioner Willie Marcial.
In exchange, Phoenix got Ginebra's first round pick in this year's draft, signaling the start of a rebuild that will revolve around current star Matt Wright.
Interestingly, the trade happened following an explosion from both Chan and the Barangay.
Chan dropped 26 points on Saturday night to lead the Fuel Masters in a losing effort to the Rain Or Shine Elasto Painters.

The Barangay, on the other hand, dealt the Magnolia Hotshots a 20-point defeat in the latest installment of the "Manila Clasico" on Sunday night.
