MANILA--Two nights after torching Russia in the FIBA 3x3 World Cup in Bocaue, Stanley Pringle went on fire against San Miguel in Pasay.

The GlobelPort guard led his team to a stunning 98-94 win against the reigning PBA Commissioner's Cup champion with an impressive all-around performance.

Pringle tallied 22 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and three steals in the win, but none was more important than his crucial swipe that led to Mo Tautuaa's dagger basket.

Pringle, for his said performance, was named the PBA Rush-PBA Press Corps Player of the Week, his first for this conference.

Pringle got the nod over Meralco’s Jared Dillinger and KG Canaleta, Rain or Shine’s James Yap and Beau Belga and Ginebra's LA Tenorio.

The citation came ahead of busy yet crucial week for the Batang Pier as they continue their chase for a better playoff seeding.

GlobalPort takes on Phoenix on Wednesday and Columbian on Friday.
