PASAY--Coach Nash Racela respects the PBA board's decision to have the core of his TNT team go to Jakarta for the Asian Games.
"It's a decision by the board, so we don't really have a choice but to allow them to represent the country in the Asian Games," Racela said on Friday night, a day after the league board and the SBP agreed to have eight of the KaTropa called up to the Asiad on Aug. 18-31.

But he then rued, "It's going to be hard for us. Of course, we will miss them for a couple of weeks, and then when they get back, they will most likely play consecutive games, so it's not gonna be easy."
Racela then added, "That has been the sacrifice of our organization for the core of the national team. Just like what others will say, 'It is what it is.'"
He then said that he is open to have some more of his players called up for national team duty.
"We're open to lending our players and adjust whatever it takes doon sa end namin with Talk 'n Text. If they need more people from us, then they just let us know," Racela said.
