MANILA--Junemar Fajardo is on track to win an unprecedented fifth PBA MVP award.

Based on the official stats released by the league on Wednesday, Fajardo collected 29.6 statistical points through the quarterfinal stage of the ongoing Commissioner's Cup. His SP's are expected to spike further following impressive stats in San Miguel's ongoing semifinal series against Alaska.

GlobalPort's Stanley Pringle is second with 25.3 SP's followed by Ginebra's Japeth Aguilar with 23.6 SP's.

Two more Beermen barged into the Top 5 in Arwind Santos, who ranks fourth with 23.4 SP's, and Alex Cabagnot, who is fifth with 22.

Closely bubbling under are the Batang Pier's Sean Anthony (sixth with 21.9 SP's) and Phoenix Fuel Master Matt Wright (seventh with 21.8).

The computation is based on the sum of 40 percent of the SP's the players collected in the Philippine Cup and 30 percent of their SP's in the Commissioner's Cup.
