LOS BAÑOS--A nasty ending to its FIBA World Cup Qualifiers game against Australia did little in affecting Gilas Pilipinas' FIBA ranking.
In the latest update on Friday, the Philippine teams stayed in the 30th spot in the world rankings even as most of the teams above it, including Australia, remain stuck at their previous rankings.
The significant shifts in the rankings were at the lower tier as Guyana climbed 17 spots to 95th overall and Nicaragua and Togo lost 10 spots to 104th and 153rd respectively.
