QUEZON CITY--San Miguel may be comfortably leading as of posting, but the team is to play the rest of Game 2 of the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals without two of its key players.

Arwind Santos and Chris Ross were both thrown out of the playing court following separate incidents midway into the fourth quarter of the Beermen's match against Barangay Ginebra at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sunday night.

Santos was first slapped with a Flagrant Foul Penalty 2 after appearing to have hit Scottie Thompson at his torso area while trying to move out of a screen.

Santos, however, believes that the penalty was too stiff.

"Ang rules, above the shoulders pwede mag-F2 at closed fist," he said, implying that he denies giving Thompson a cheap shot.

Ross then had an altercation with Joe Devance, leading to the two getting a technical foul each.

With Ross already incurring a technical foul earlier in the game, he was also shown the door.

However, he denied that he swung his arm at Devance, which did not sit well at the latter.

"I didn't do nothing," said Ross.
