NLEX joins Blackwater as PBA's "Super 8" reps

MANILA--NLEX has been named the last participating team in the Asia League Summer Super 8 tournament in Macau.

In an announcement on Wednesday by organizer Asia League, the Road Warriors will join the Blackwater Elite as the PBA's representatives to the tournament pitting clubs from Asia's premier professional leagues.

With the development, the PBA will have two teams in the Super 8 tournament like the KBL (Incheon and Seoul Samsung) and the CBA (Guangzhou and Xinjiang).

B-League's Fukuoka and ABL's Formosa make up the other two teams in the tournament scheduled from July 17-22.
