MANILA--The rains brought about by Tropical Storm Henry prompted the PBA to announce the postponement of the Commissioner's Cup semifinal game between Ginebra and Rain Or Shine.
"Safety and security of the fans, players and officials are always of utmost importance," the league explained in a statement on Tuesday, hours before the Barangay and the Elasto Painters were supposed to play Game 2 of their best-of-five series.
In effect, Game 2 will now take place on Thursday, the supposed playdate of Game 3.
This also assured that a game will be played on Saturday night as Game 3 will now be played on the said time.
