QUEZON CITY--After a long layoff, Calvin Abueva is finally back in the PBA.
However, he is not anymore wearing an Alaska jersey.
As per a blockbuster trade earlier this month, the six-foot-three winger is now with Phoenix.
But at his new home, Abueva seems like he is ready to unleash being "The Beast" again.
And in his comeback game on Wednesday night, that was exactly what he did.
As if he is playing in his PBA debut all over again, Abueva put up a "beastly" stat line to help the Fuel Masters hold off the Columbian Dyip at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

He made 12 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, three blocks, and one steal off the bench for Phoenix.
However, eight of his boards were at the offensive end, and four of which came in the dying moments to help save his team preserve the win offensively.
Also, his last two blocks came at crunch time.
Still, Abueva reiterated that they were all part of his job.
"Napakita ko kung ano yung mga dapat kong gawin," he simply said.
